Overall, I feel so lucky to be myself, in Japan. People are so loving and kind. I just had a lunch in a small cafe, and the lady running it was happy to have me there. I think she gave me an extra desert for free. You could tell it was from the heart- real genuine kindness. This is what communication is. Not necessarily the language of the body or the mouth- but the pure language of the heart.
