The Templar Revelation

As I may have mentioned I am currently turning my attention to alchemy and The Cabala, the inner truth of the revealed religions. Not being allowed any hand-luggage other than travel documents and a wallet from Heathrow a few days ago lead to me buying a new book to read on the plane- The Templar Revelation, by Lynn Picknett and Clive Prince. Not only had I been reading along these lines before leaving for my trip to England and Portugal, but time and time again, the themes would come up- the symbolic rose, monasteries haunted by histories of returning crusaders, mysterious standing stones in Avebury.
Reading this book, the associations are all becoming a lot clearer and rather than being new discoveries, such inner teachings seem to be sourced in far older religions than I had realised, most especially the cult of the Egyptian Goddess Isis, known in the Bible as 'Wisdom'. The more I read, the more I learn... It is strange, the way events have a way of guiding us to our destiny, almost as if the one thing we can't escape in this increasingly structured world is that which goes on within ourselves.
