Like Ikarus

It's terrible to see how we sabotage ourselves. Just when we are flying highest, some thought of insecurity sends us plummeting to the ground like Icarus. Just like Icarus, such a tragedy is too small-scale to be often seen by others. It is this daily tragedy which 'keeps us in check'- keeps us in the perpetual checkmate position of a creature waiting to be human, but never quite managing it... And thereby remaining something of an animal. What would it take to fly free? Wings of the Spirit?

So many things to say, such a shortage of words and time... Yet I do find that the busier I am, the more I seem to get done. Also, that the more I say from my heart-of-hearts, the more words tend to come to me, play with me, and beckon to be uttered...
